In a heated exchange earlier today outside his St. Petersburg, Florida residence after which, following a prolonged argument with local officers, Wikileeks founder and CEO Anthony Downtoni was arrested for two counts of disorderly conduct and disturbing the peace.
The altercation allegedly occurred after, having been offered a ride and kindly driven home by police, Downtoni began berating the officers and, despite his media empire and seven figure salary (at WL, we fucking get it in, son.), claiming that “he was average Joe, real motherfucker and (expletive deleted) the police.”
Following this altercation, occurring in his apartment complex’s breezeway area of egress, Downtoni was arrested and later released on bail.
When asked what exactly the cost of Downtoni’s actions might be, Police Chief Ralph Wiggum scoffed, “Murdoch wouldn’t get in trouble if he shot up a school… You think Downtoni’s in any real trouble? This guy’s a fuckin’ shark.”
